Caring and supporting each other - "it's more about filling the need for human contact than anything else"
Asking how the families assigned to you would like to be ministered to
Knowing each other and establishing a clear connection point to our Ward Family community for each person/family
Having a simple and easy point of contact for emergencies and support
A way to help keep leadership stay informed of important events or needs in families' lives
An opportunity to form friendships and relationships that build each other up and help each other feel God's love

What it's not:

It's not an automatic chore assignment
It's not automatic friendship - all parties have to work at building a relationship
Ministering companions are not service monkeys (🤣🐒)
