*Relief Society Lessons will now be broadcast via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We will use the same link as the one used in sacrament meeting, so if you'd like to join us via zoom, please follow the instructions on this page.
Ministering is companionship. With the holidays in full swing, please check in with your sisters and see if they have a place to go or people to be with during the holidays. If they don't, invite them to do something with you. If that isn't an option, please let someone in the RS presidency know, and we will invite them. We don't want anyone to feel alone during this special time of year!
There won't be any Relief Society activities until the new year so that you all can focus on your families through the holidays. There will be a ward party on December 12th!
The Kuna Food Bank is running low on certain items. Our RS will focus on a specific item each month to collect and donate. You can bring items to church, drop them off at a RS presidency member's home or drop them off directly at the Food Bank. Thank you so much for your help!
This month we are collecting: CANNED FRUIT
In 2025 our Relief Society presidency would like to focus each month on a specific theme. This theme will be used in our counseling topics on Sundays, to plan activities, etc. throughout the month.
The theme for December is "Loving Christ."
Elder Jeffery R. Holland said: "The first great commandment of all eternity is to love God with all our heart, might, mind, and strength--that's the first great commandment. But the first great truth of all eternity is that God loves us with all of His heart, might, mind and strength. That love is the foundation stone of eternity, and it should be the foundation stone of our daily life."
-Massimo De Feo, "Pure Love: The True Sign of Every True Disciple of Jesus Christ," April 2018 General Conference
"The first of the Ten Commandments reiterates this divine wisdom: "I am the Lord thy God. . . . Thou shalt have no other gods before me." The placement of this commandment helps us understand that if we place Him as our main priority, everything else will ultimately fall into place--even our service to others. When He takes the preeminent position in our lives by our deliberate choice, then He is able to bless our actions to our good and to the good of others."
-Joy D. Jones, "For Him," October 2018 General Conference
