• July 4 - Independence Day!

• Aug 6 - Donation Drop-off for Clothing Exchange from 6pm to 8pm at our church building

• Aug 7 - Golden Circle of Friends at 11:30 (see flyer below)

• Aug 9 - Community Clothing Exchange from 9am to 1pm at our church building (see flyer below)

• Aug 9 - Ward Party! at the Stake Center

• Aug 23 - Stake Conference Adult Session at 7pm at the Stake Center

• Aug 24 - Stake Conference at 10am at the Stake Center

• Sept 6 - Stake Women's Conference from 5pm to 8pm at our church building (see flyer below)

• Our Primary presidency is encouraging anyone who would like to substitute in primary to take the "Protecting Children and Youth" training. This training takes about 30 minutes and is good for 3 years. 

• Our Sister Missionaries are in need of service hours. Please reach out to them or to Sister Carter if you or someone you know could use some service.

Please keep reaching out to your sisters. We know the summer gets busy, so even just a prayer or a text to let your sisters know you are thinking of them can make a world of difference.

Service

The Kuna Food Bank is running low on certain items. Our RS will focus on a specific item each month to collect and donate. You can bring items to church, drop them off at a RS presidency member's home or drop them off directly at the Food Bank. Thank you so much for your help!

Monthly Theme: HEAR HIM

In 2025 our Relief Society presidency would like to focus each month on a specific theme. This theme will be used in our counseling topics on Sundays, to plan activities, etc. throughout the month.  

The theme for August is "Hear Him." 

In President Nelson's General Conference talk in April of 2020, he asked, "Where can we go to hear Him?"

He answered, "We can go to the scriptures. They teach us about Jesus Christ and His gospel, the magnitude of His Atonement, and our Father’s great plan of happiness and redemption. Daily immersion in the word of God is crucial for spiritual survival, especially in these days of increasing upheaval. As we feast on the words of Christ daily, the words of Christ will tell us how to respond to difficulties we never thought we would face.

"We can also hear Him in the temple. The house of the Lord is a house of learning. There the Lord teaches in His own way. There each ordinance teaches about the Savior. There we learn how to part the veil and communicate more clearly with heaven. There we learn how to rebuke the adversary and draw upon the Lord’s priesthood power to strengthen us and those we love. How eager each of us should be to seek refuge there. . . .

"We also hear Him more clearly as we refine our ability to recognize the whisperings of the Holy Ghost. It has never been more imperative to know how the Spirit speaks to you than right now."
